Kitchen Reno: Before & After
Our client's job involved a complete gut and renovation of the kitchen. The first phase of this project involved relocating doorways. Three kitchen doorways were reduced to two - this allowed for a lot more space for cabinetry, and created better flow (one of the doorways was closed, and and another doorway was moved). The kitchen window was also replaced with a smaller one, and the floor, walls and ceiling was completed gutted.
The second phase of the reno involved all new electrical (we obtained permits from the City of Toronto), recessed lighting, under-cabinet lighting, light switches with dimmers, and a lot more electrical outlets (the previous kitchen had just one outlet). New drywall was installed, as well as the new kitchen window, and plumbing was upgraded. A new ceramic tile floor was installed. Our Associates then installed the kitchen cabinetry and countertop. We then completed the job with a new tile backsplash, door and window trim, paint, lighting, plumbing fixtures, window treatment and cabinet hardware.
